At Santa Eulalia we are surrounded by gifts 365 days a year. Gifts that we would love to hang in our wardrobes or put on the first row of our shoe cabinet. But as dreams cease to be dreams if they become reality, we often settle for squinting at those suede boots by Louboutin, or the new leather bag by Proenza Schouler that just arrived at the store in the colours lemon fuchsia and black.

Santa Eulalia perfumes Paseo de Gracia

We haven’t gotten many hours of sleep. Last night, we celebrated the great shopping night in Barcelona, and we rolled out our own red carpet in the midst of soap bubbles that perfumed the Catalan Paseo de Gracia.

Believe it or not, the accessory we use to write in, our daily agenda, the pen, the iPhone case or the notebook where we write down every detail that occurs throughout the day, is the next step in fashion if you want to be an “it-person”.

Since Smythson opened its first shop in September 1887 at number 133 of the prestigious New Bond Street in London, the British firm has continued to reap success.
