The SE acronym have since 1843 become a symbol of luxury and sophistication in Barcelona and that is why Broken Stylee could not say no to a date with Santa Eulalia. On Saturday August 27th, I went to spend a morning at the store, located at 93 Paseo de Gracia. Renato took great care of me there and I saw that good service is highest on the priority list of Santa Eulalia, one of the best luxury stores in Barcelona, if not the best.Google+
Diane Von Furstenberg got her surname from her brief but intense marriage to a German prince and the couple was a reflection of the excess and glamour of the 70’s as well as one of the most admired couples of the decade. Parties with Salvador Dalí, dinners with the Duke of Windsor and long nights at the iconic Studio 54 in New York, dancing to the beat of Donna Summer and Amanda Lear. It is said that she used to rub shoulders with Elizabeth Taylor, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Yves Saint Laurent, Woody Allen and Bianca Jagger among many others. We still remember the tabloid magazines that spoke of the couple with phrases like “The couple who has everything”.Google+
Who hasn’t heard about the reopening of Santa Eulalia on 28th March following its fabulous overhaul?
It was a social event, a week full of presentations, events and surprises, in which their only star, SE, looked internationally successful.
At the time we showed you its new image via a set of very informative, original shots; today I want to speak individually to all the women who coexist in Santa Eulalia, whom I have been able to interpret, seduced by an interesting variety of new brands – an essential component of its new identity.Google+
Last week we told you about the rising temperatures at the photo shoot of the new men’s wear lookbook, today femininity and vivid colours are the protagonists. Gregori Civera is the one responsible for immortalizing the looks of our Dutch model Iris Van Berne. These looks will undoubtedly be a ”must” for the new season. Looks that take us back to the sixties and the office of the ”working girl” and glamorous cocktail parties of warm spring nights. Sandra Domínguez and our international stylist Sonia di Pietro are very clear on one point, this season we cannot let pass any opportunity that comes our way.Google+
It seems that the cold doesn’t want to leave us but the news are already arriving to Santa Eulalia so we’ll be prepared when the first rays of spring arrive. It’s a real duel of new brands that will make the choice extremely difficult. The styles range from elegance to comfort and from bold to basics that never fail… each one of them brings uniqueness and distinction to our closets. The first course is served, now you just need to come and taste it!Google+
