Blog Santa Eulalia

Who is Monsieur Elbaz?

Nobody imagined that this Moroccan child, who immigrated to Israel when he was only eight years, today would spend the days between beautiful prêt-à-porter garments.

Bye bye heels?

That’s what some of the 2013 SS designs seem to say.

It’s all about heels

It’s time… for bare feet! See you later socks! Spring calls for pastel or fluorescent coloured nails and vertigo sandals to show them off.

Useful

Let’s be practical. The famous saying “No pain, no gain” is obsolete with the casual proposals from the trendiest international fashion houses.

Three women, three styles

Sure you have a friend who’s a fan of ballerina flats, who hates the sky high heels you love so much. However, your twitter group addict looks enviously on your new Tom Ford gems. You will also meet the legendary Mr. Louboutin fan. The red soles attract many. It’s fun to share tastes with your friends who update you about the new Lanvin flats, ideal for morning walks.

In life, as in the shop windows of Santa Eulalia, there is room for everyone (or almost everyone).

Alber’s ballerinas

Many times we (reluctantly) run from comfort. Stilettos gives us self confidence, glamour and, yes, height. But a few extra inches do not always result in a perfect look, and Alber Elbaz knows that.

The fashion blog Coolhunter Diary wants Santa Eulalia

I would have loved to walk out of the doors of Santa Eulalia wearing the LBD (little black dress) I chose to pose in front of the camera lens. Balenciaga really knows how to do it!

One day at Santa Eulalia

A couple of weeks ago I visited the boutique Santa Eulalia and apart from walking around the store to get a better look on the architecture I got to choose the accessories I wanted for a still-life photo shoot. Just when entering I remember seeing a pair of wonderful shoes and I didn’t hesitate but chose these shoes from Charlotte Olympia as my central element. From the careful selection of available books I chose “Rose C’est Paris” by Bettina Rheims and Serge Bramly as background in the still-life.
