Key of gold

Discretion has never been the strong side of Marc Jacobs. Once again, the accessories speak of the glittery spirit of the brand’s New York designer, inventor of the grunge fashion and promoter of sensible luxury.

Dear Magic Kings,

At Santa Eulalia we are surrounded by gifts 365 days a year. Gifts that we would love to hang in our wardrobes or put on the first row of our shoe cabinet. But as dreams cease to be dreams if they become reality, we often settle for squinting at those suede boots by Louboutin, or the new leather bag by Proenza Schouler that just arrived at the store in the colours lemon fuchsia and black.

Flapper trend

They were rebels. The flappers of the twenties shortened their skirts, took off the corsets, got a bob hair cut, wore a lot of makeup, listened to jazz and drank strong liqueurs. Today the vintage look has returned, maybe (I like to think so) in memory of those women who blew convention with a very powerful weapon: Fashion.

The greatest gift

Luxury is neither measured in euro nor size. Luxury is measured in detail and great moments. At Santa Eulalia we know. So this Christmas, we’ve decided to give you a special selection of the most exclusive gifts (for less than 200 €!) It is a secret that we want to shout out loud.

Dulceida.com visit Santa Eulalia

Last Thursday, Santa Eulalia welcomed me to enjoy a full morning; we could say that I was princess for a day.

I had total freedom in looking through the beautiful shop and pick out outfits. At first it seemed really easy, with my favourite brands like Balenciaga and Céline among many others… But it was not easy, things get complicated when you like everything you see, when you want everything and you’ve got a rack full of clothes. At the end I chose five very different looks. And what better way to show what happened than with some pictures! Enjoy!

Marc Jacobs… sun and beach in Saint Tropez

Marc Jacobs, the most influential designer in the fashion world according to Time magazine, has plunged himself into the warm waters of Saint Tropez. From there he has caught the glamour of the 70′s when divas like Jerry Hall showed off her hot affair with Mick Jagger. As is well known, Jacobs not only feeds on one single idea when creating. One city, one scene is not enough for the artist. So he has not only been inspired by the idolized French coast this time. A nod to the Japanese culture coexists with the hedonism of the seventies and the work of the late Yves Saint Laurent in southern France.

SE: renewed yet different spirit

Who hasn’t heard about the reopening of Santa Eulalia on 28th March following its fabulous overhaul?

It was a social event, a week full of presentations, events and surprises, in which their only star, SE, looked internationally successful.

At the time we showed you its new image via a set of very informative, original shots;  today I want to speak individually to all the women who coexist in Santa Eulalia, whom I have been able to interpret, seduced by an interesting variety of new brands – an essential component of its new identity.
