SE: renewed yet different spirit

Who hasn’t heard about the reopening of Santa Eulalia on 28th March following its fabulous overhaul?

It was a social event, a week full of presentations, events and surprises, in which their only star, SE, looked internationally successful.

At the time we showed you its new image via a set of very informative, original shots;  today I want to speak individually to all the women who coexist in Santa Eulalia, whom I have been able to interpret, seduced by an interesting variety of new brands – an essential component of its new identity.

Rodarte’s New collection Autumn-Winter 2010/11

Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the designers of Rodarte, are already a reference point when it comes to American fashion. For this winter they have created something different out of the aggressive style with punk touches that we have been used to see the last few seasons.

Rodarte

The whole world seems to smile at the sisters Mulleavy. Having been funded at the beginning by the prestigious department stores Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, and have the approval of the editor of American Vogue, Anna Wintour, is not something that happens every day.

With lightness and expertise they work with materials like chiffon and tricot creating their precious dresses and bustiers that have gained them respect within the fashion industry, an industry normally immune to the emergence of new talent.

Their collections have a touch of punk and goth that break with the romantic and bucolic look of the garments. Among their faithful clients you find Dita Von Teese and Cate Blanchett.

The autumn-winter collection will be in our store in July.
