The Italian firm ETRO, worldwide known for its paisley prints and for introducing different cultures in the collections, wanted to pay tribute to the geisha. The protagonist of the collection was of course a version of the Japanese kimono.
The military-style jackets are combined with soft floral prints trousers, a clear nod to the country of the rising sun. On the other hand, Veronica Etro, head of the women’s division of the company, remains committed to femininity and masterfully handles the combination of different prints with perfect results. Layers of wool that wraps around the body, generous silver fox collars adorning lengthy coats and jackets in cashmere is more than enough to combat the cold winter.
