Excitement and frenzy has surrounded the Lanvin for H&M capsule collection. Since the Swedish company announced the capsule collection designed by Alber Elbaz (creative director of the fashion house) through its Twitter page, the interest in seeing the creations of the designer has been increasing.
But the waiting is finally over. Today, on their website, Lanvin published the video that reveals the awaited secret: Lanvin’s designs for H & M. The video, directed by Mike Figgins in collaboration with Alber Elbaz himself, finally lets us enjoy the creations of the designer for this collection. You can see a preview here.
It has to be said that, once again, Monsieur Elbaz does not let us down. Only he is able to create a mass-market collection without ever losing the standards of style, elegance and femininity that define one of the firms with greater success with the public and critics.
The collection, characterized by the quality of the fabrics, is composed of 20 male and 30 female garments among which dresses, shoes and handbags are included. All we have to do now is to wait until November 23, when both collections (the women’s collection signed by Elbaz and the men’s collection signed by Lucas Ossendrijver) will be for sale in 200 stores selected by H&M.
Thus, Lanvin joins other prestigious companies that have worked with H&M. Designing capsule collections are a way to make exclusive designs available at very affordable prices. Among the guest designers for H&M you’ll find Karl Lagerfeld, Sonia Rykiel, Stella McCartney and Tamara Mellon, who succeeded in selling out the Jimmy Choo capsule collection in a few minutes.
From Santa Eulalia we wish Lanvin all the best and hope the collection will be a great success!
