Brought up among women’s footwear, Alexandre Birman was bound to be a designer of handmade shoes as his family were at the forefront of South America’s footwear industry in the 1970s.
In 2008 he launched the brand that bears his name, whose supreme principles are luxury, femininity and sophistication, present in all his creations thanks to the use of the finest natural materials such as reptile skin.
His 2014 Spring-Summer collection brings together everything a woman looks for in a pair of shoes at this time of year: up-to-date designs, elegant and fresh that add a touch of exquisiteness to any look, both day and night.
Since June 2013, Birman has been a member of CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America). This institution has recently announced its shortlist for the awards for the best womenswear, menswear and accessory designers, many of whose creations can be seen at Santa Eulalia.
